Protecting the Patuxent River is a big job and a team effort. The Patuxent Riverkeeper organization depends on members in order to conduct vital local monitoring throughout the course of the River. Members help ensure that our programs reflect the diversity of concerns about the health, vitality and future of the Patuxent. Members become part of a statewide community of people who care about our water resources and who support focused advocacy in order to preserve the river. It is members who provide their wisdom and input to help the Patuxent Riverkeeper work effectively on the issues that are truly important. As a member, you can help advance the efforts to clean the river, enhance compliance with laws enacted to protect the River, and launch projects whose sole purpose is the betterment of this distinctly Maryland River.
